Join Us in Vancouver to Celebrate Fellowship and Recovery!!!

TIAA-Forum.org, in cooperation with Code 4 Recovery and the National AA Technology Workshop are proud to host a hospitality suite at the 2025 AA International Convention in Vancouver, BC — July 3-5, 2025. You can find us at the Cheakamus suite at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel where we will welcome members from around the globe, offering opportunities to connect, make friends, and explore how technology can enhance recovery and support AA groups in their primary purpose. Attendees will also have the chance to share their own experiences with technology, discovering new tools and ideas that could make a meaningful difference in their recovery journeys.

Why a Hospitality Suite?

Our goal is to demonstrate how technology can be a powerful tool to bring people together, build community, and uphold the principles and practices of AA in today’s digital world. This suite will serve as a hub for connection, storytelling, and learning, fostering a sense of unity among members. As more people turn to digital platforms for support and resources, we aim to share practical insights that can help everyone grow as AA members and strengthen their service to the fellowship.

How You Can Help

This project is expected to be fully self-supporting, with anticipated costs exceeding $6,200. Contributions from individuals like you and/or groups like yours are critical to making this vision a reality. Every donation, regardless of size, will go directly toward creating an inviting and resourceful space for all attendees. About your payment processing on our site

tiaa-forum.org uses Stripe for our payment processor. Stripe processes over a trillion dollars a year handling millions of transactions around the world and has a very high reputation for security and safety of the information they’re entrusted with.

Our site does not keep any of your personal or payment information regarding transactions with Stripe.

Please note that, if you choose ACH as a payment option, you will need to click the green button to contribute after you’ve set up your credentials with your bank. Also, FYI, it can take up to 7 working days for your ACH transaction to register with and clear your bank.

We recommend a personal email address (e.g. your_name@example.com) instead of a “positional” email address (e.g. webmaster@your_intergroup.org) unless you intend for you membership to rotate with the person holding the position in the future. This email address can be changed after you join if you wish to change it by editing your profile information.

Affirmation (required):

By the group conscience of the members, this forum is only open to members of AA and those non-members of AA supporting AA services (e.g. Intergroup offices, AA service structure, etc.).

Topic interests (required):

If you are interested in conversations in more than one  technical topic area (e.g. web sites, answering services, virtual meetings, etc.) or have a general curiosity about AA discussions in general (e.g. topics above and beyond technology like committees and group dynamics), you would probably want to select the default “General” option.

If your primary interest is in Archives only, you probably want to select the “Archives” option. Note that with either option, you will still have access to all topics on the forum but with the “Archives” option, your “home screen” will automatically place you in the “Archives” category where most of those conversations happen.
